 EGBA ECONOMIC SUMMIT ELECT DR. GBENGA ADEOYE AS NEW PRESIDENT.


The Egba Economic Summit has elected Dr. Gbenga Adeoye as the President of the think tank group to lead the summit for the next 2 years .


Dr. Gbenga Adeoye served as the 1st Vice President of the Summit for 2 years from.2023.


He has served as Director of Finance as well as  Education and Research Directorate of the summit.


He takes over from the immediate past President , Mr Yinka Chris Coker who retired from Mobil while the president before Coker  Chief Shina Luwoye. FCA  retired from Shell.


Luwoye took over from Kehinde Sogunle  the former Commissioner of Finance in Ogun State who took over from Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi mni.


Tokunbo Odebunmi took over from Chief Tunji Sunmonu who took over from Ayo Biobaku and Ayo Biobaku took over from Ade Coker who is now based in Houston Texas.


Dr. Gbenga Adeoye is a Lawyer and Chartered Accountant with  about 27 years work experience. 


He is the Founder and Principal Partner of Gbenga Adeoye & Co.( Chartered Accountants). He is also the  founder and Managing Partner of Global Legal Partners.


He has uncommon  passion for  Social and  Economic Development of Egbaland, Ogun State, Nigeria and Africa.


He is also a member of Nigeria Economic Summit Group.


His father Pa Moses Aremu Adeoye is from Lemo Compound, Erunwon in Egba Ake while his mother Mrs Abiagael ( Née Alirat Osunbayo) is from Amigagan Compound in Ita Oje Gbagura.


No wonder he loves Egbaland so much that he has invested so much in Egbaland.


His 7 point Agenda are 


1. Update Data Base of Egbas playing important roles in Nigeria and around the world. 

2. Unite old and new members of EES.

3. Tailored made advocacy engagement to attract investment and projects to Egbaland.

4. Mentor Egba youths that can take over leadership in various sectors of the economy.

5. Train and assist Small Business owners to grow their business , keep records and understand tax matters

6. Gather support for the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences to move to  it's permanent site with befitting lecture halls, laboratories and other facilities.

7. Create a platform for  Corporate Entities to join the summit for inclusive engagement on ease of doing business.


The Chairman of the Board of Directors , Chief Taiwo Adeoluwa charged the  New President to unite all members while thanking the host of the AGM , Chief Tokunbo Odebunmi for his hospitality.


Members outside the country joined the AGM online .


Chief Luwoye,, Alhaji Egbeyemi, Dr Kehinde Sogunle also joined online .


Captain Okesanjo in hus submission at the AGM insisted that EES must move from social activities to core Economic activities. 


His position was supported by Builder Biodun Karunwi and Engr.Odebunmi the host of the event.


The Chairman of the Board insisted that members shoukd be encouraged to regularised their membership latest by 31st March 2026.


The president and Members appreciate Engr..Ola Sobande for his support for the summit and despite being a major brain behind the summit formation and now  at over 70 years of age, he  remained  committed to.EES objectives and growth till date.


Members wish Egbaland prosperity. 


The President Dr. Gbenga Adeoye use the opportunity to invite members to his house for new year Celebration on 1st January 2026.
