SHOWUNMI CELEBRATES AMOSUN's 67th BIRTHDAY CALLS FOR POLITICAL REJUVENATION IN OGUN CENTRAL



Abeokuta, Ogun State - January 25, 2025.

Senator Ibikunle Amosun, a veteran politician and former Governor of Ogun State, celebrated his birthday today amidst accolades and reflections on his illustrious career.

In a heartfelt message, Otunba Segun Showunmi, a stalwart of the Ogun State political scene, praised Senator Amosun's contributions to the development of Ogun Central, particularly his generous support for the ongoing project at the Ake Palace Ground.

However, Showunmi also used the occasion to sound a note of caution, urging Senator Amosun to lead the charge in rejuvenating the political landscape of Ogun Central. He noted that the district's current legislative representation is weak compared to its peers in Ogun East and West.

"As we look to the future, it's essential that we identify and support stronger candidates who can effectively represent the interests of Ogun Central," Showunmi said. "By doing so, we can ensure that our district receives the recognition and rewards it deserves."
