PDP Chieftain Gives Sister's Hand in Marriage, Rains Currencies on the New Couple

United States based chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Prince Adebayo Babawande on Saturday gave out her sister's hand in marriage at Christ Gospel Mission International, Mushin Lagos.

The PDP chieftain whose late father was the Assistant General Overseer of the church until his demise was accompanied by his loving wife, Princess Olanike Babawande and some of his friends from Chicago.

Prince Adebayo Babawande who turned Mushin to an extension of Chicago with the rains of dollars and naira at the event.

 The latest couple in town had gotten married at Christ Gospel Mission International, Mushin after which the guests were treated to a royal reception at ECWA Hall, Olorunsogo Lagos.

Speaking with journalists at the event, Hon. Babawande thanked the almighty God for the success of the occasion, as well as those who came from far and near to honour the newest couple on their day of joy.

He said while responding to journalists "I am so excited today, and I am grateful to God for making today a reality. I am really happy for my sister, it's really the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our sight. 

"Olukayode, the groom is a great guy, a wonderful person that will definitely take good care of his wife. Bola my sister is also another fantastic woman that will make a good wife and wonderful mother. I just want them to put their trust in God, let them remain best friends, be prayerful and be determined to build a Godly home".

"I wish them the very best. I equally thank all those who came from far and near to be part of this joyful occasion, it's my prayer that things of celebration will never cease in our midst".

Mrs Olanike Babawande while thanking friends and families that joined them at the event, she prayed that the Lord will grant them safe journey to their destinations.

Princess Olanike Babawande who is the promoter of PDP National Women Parliament encouraged women to be alive to their responsibilities at home and also play their roles in nation building.

The couple, Olukayode and Bola were very excited beyond measure as they  danced uncontrollably as Prince Babawande showered them with hard currencies.

Expressing his regret, Prince Babawande said that he wished his father was around to witness this day, but God loves him more.

Babawande who aspired for House of Representatives at Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019, lamented the state of insecurity in the country, he urged the Federal Government to be alive to their responsibility and build people's confidence.


Expressing their profound gratitude the couple thanked God for making their wedding a reality and prayed that the Lord will grant those that graced the occasion more blessing.
