Ogun 2027 -Rooting Begins as YIGGOM Says Dr. Adeoye is Qualified to Run for Governor
Egba agenda 2027: Group roots for Adeoye as Abiodun's successor A socio-political group, Youth Involvement in Good Governance (YIGGOM) on Tuesday said that with the Supreme Court affirming the governorship of Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State till May 2027, the stage is set for the people of Ogun Central Senatorial District to begin to look for a technocrat who could take over from the governor in 2027. The group in a statement on Tuesday noted that though it was not unaware of the agitation of Ogun West Senatorial District to have a first shot at the governorship seat since the state was created about 48 years ago but this does not mean that the Egba people who are abundantly qualified should not aspire to lead the state again.
